Butterfly Paragliding, the flying school and Tandem Flight centre, with its simulator, paramotor and paraglider shop is on site in a separate building. If the wind is not suitable for hill soaring, we can use the winch for tow launch training and tandem flights. Take off is within 50 metres of breakfast in the conservatory, overlooking the channel. Sea breezes often allow extended soaring flights along 16 km of cliffs to Freshwater and sometimes back again, known as the famous "Blackgang Run". A fabulous lostland area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) with private adventure trail leads down to a very secluded beach. Abundant wildlife and flora populate the extraordinary landscape; badgers, foxes, pheasant, kestrels, doves, cats, dogs, rabbits, gulls and peregrine falcons are seen on a daily basis!
