Developed from free fall parachuting, paragliding is a wonderful
form of outdoor experience. Basic control of the wing is simple
but the learning process never ends.
We stay up by the Grace of God, and the subtlety of our own imagination.
Of course we also use aerodynamics,air law, micrometeorology, visualization,
observation, calculation, preparation, inspiration, perspiration,
education, evaporation, condensation, information and of course
LUCK! I have found the 25 years of practice has improved my luck
considerably!
We are an established school, with an enviable safety record
and some of the best training, sites, and weather anywhere.
We have a comprehensively equipped school, friendly instructors,on
site clubhouse,and a fully stocked shop.
We are situated right on the cliff top at Chale. On a good
day our more experienced clients can walk, from their organic breakfast
on the conservatory, to the take off spot, then soar along sixteen

TANDEM FLIGHT
Soar the cliffs with an instructor. Hands on, Fast track experience.
Approximate 20 minutes in the air. Same day bookings, just call
ahead to check the weather conditions are suitable.

INTRO DAY
Getting to know what paragliding is all about
Guaranteed to get you off the ground.
May include a tandem flight as well if the weather is suitable.
All equipment is provided but you should wear walking boots if
possible . Bring sun screen, layers of clothing and a camera with
you. We can provide a packed lunch if you like. Normal fitness is
fine
STUDENT PILOT COURSE
Solo flying, simple flight plans and basic theory. A carefully
prepared progression from the flat ground to short flights with
turns and planned landings.
Closely supervised flying on the school sites. Time enough to gain
a good insight into the paragliding sport and lifestyle.
Most pilots take four or five days to complete this stage and achieve
their BHPA Elementary Pilot rating.
CLUB PILOT COURSE
Soaring for extended periods, staying up in the air, gaining height,
landing back at the take off; real flying starts with the Club Pilot
rating.
At this stage you are able to fly with your local club coach,and
technically do not need to continue in school!
Our advice however is to stay with us and join our Pilot Club.
PILOT CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Qualified as Club Pilot, you continue flying with us and have access
to all our facilities and sites. The training becomes less formal,
more advisory and tutorial in nature.
The tasks for BHPA Pilot Rating are achieved almost without you
noticing, whilst your flying progresses in a supportive and secure
environment.
OVERSEAS FLYING SAFARIS
We were the first to offer overseas paragliding holidays from the
UK and have established experience and contacts in many destinations,
worldwide.
