Paramotoring is the powered
version of paragliding, it opens up a huge arena of potential flights
unavailable to the soaring pilot.
Since 2007 we
have been actively involved with leading UK paramotoring manufacturer
Parajet (the Everest flight on TV) and advancing the ideas of paramotor
training within the highly evolved BHPA infrastructure and safety
umbrella. Along with our static winch for launch and circuit practice
and the simulator for navigation exercises, in 2009 we are pursuing
tandem flight training experiences on a foot launch paramotor under
the BMAA umbrella. The idea of using a trike is now becoming a reality
as the legislative soup clears and the manufacturers are producing
great and innovative designs. Our mates in Oz are flying a Gyrocopter
and Jim and Miriam are becoming real hot shots in their sailplane.
Join us in the adventures......the
sky is not the limit....
If the weather
is not flyable, or you have simply had so much flying that you need
a break; we can usually sort something out for you.
The Island is
a holiday destination, well served with activities for visitors.
Everything from ball games to botanical gardens; via boats, bikes,
planes, trains, tree climbing and terradactyls is within a few minutes
of the centre.
We are happy to help
you arrange your non flying time, although most of our clients enjoy
discovering the Island autonomously.
In the evening
there are two local restaurants to try, The Wight Mouse which is
a food pub and Merlins which is an Indian, both within a short walk
of our place.
Sometimes we
play with Ducati Pantah
and Transalp motorcycles too!
Sometimes we
go blue sky inventing and come up with magnificent
flying machines decades ahead of their time. Fortunately our
development pilots are magnificent too!
