Noni Where are we at? The news to date is that Noni has stopped chemotherapy. She has stopped because it doesn’t work and there are serious side effects. We talked to our neurosurgeon and he will be removing a cyst of dead tissue from the brain. The dead tissue is the dead tumor cells which put pressure on surrounding brain tissue. The idea of this operation is to alleviate symptoms, she may be able to talk a little better or walk a little better. We do not know how beneficial the operation will be but the possible benefits outweigh the risks. But , as far as medical science is concerned it is palliative. We try and live each day for the best , because it is what it is. She has started to have high dose Vitamin C , glutathione and other supplements intravenously which does seem to help her quite a bit. It seems to be decease symptoms Look it up on the net. This is private therapy and is fairly pricy. I find it hard to describe what is going on but there is happiness in amongst the madness. A thing I have thought long and hard about is what you guys have said to me: “how can we help?” .Now I discussed this with a bunch of my friends and I hate to do this to you but I have set up a Trust for the kids and Noni and it could do with a little help.
